I think after you have children your life just goes by so much faster. I, like so many other people, can’t believe that this year is already over. It was filled with lots of births, firsts, lasts, and soo many giggles.

So I have taken it upon myself to find a new use for these shirts. Once I started looking I found so many good ideas out there! I could not resist and HAD to put a list together! So here is it.

Guest post- A new moms journey.

Since I have been bloging I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of people I would not normally have met. and I am so glad that I have been able to. Recently I have had the pleasure of getting to know an amazing mom. She has such a heartbreaking wonderful story. I bet you did not know those two things went together did you? I really feel like I need to share her story with you.

Home made apple sauce tutorial

Recently I learned that you can make home made applesauce! And it is so easy! I can not believe I never knew about this before. I really want to share with everyone how to do it!

All you need is

• 2 bags of Apples, I use Gala or Fuji because they are so sweet.
• 1/4 cup of water
• a crock pot.

Step 1.

Peel your apples

Step two.

This is optional but I cut off the tops and bottoms to make it easier to slice.

Step 3

Core and slice and the apples. I bought one of these slicers for $3. I would like a better one but this one works well enough!

Step 4.

Put your apples in the crockpot on low overnight.

Step 5.

Wake up to the smell of delicious apples. Smash the down with a fork if you want yours a little bit chunky. I pour mine in the blender and puree it so I can share with Max.

Step 6.

Put your delicious home made all natural applesauce in jars and enjoy it!

 

If you are not trying to be healthy or sharing with a baby you can add brown sugar or cinnamon in it and it is really good.

Max is SIX months!

I cannot believe it but my little baby guy is already six months old. Its been half a year since I had him! It has gone by so fast. I love this age though I think it is my favorite. I love watching him learn new things. I love the way his face lights up when he sees me. Six months is just so much fun. I thought I liked newborns but I like babies. He is also become a little bit less work. I can now put him down or put him in his jumper for a little while. Which is good because I think my little chunckster weighs almost 19 lbs! I take him on the 13th for his 6 month check up and I am excited to see how he has grown!

He is getting two teeth on the bottom. One has broken through the other is still coming up!

He is so different from Dexter, he loves to chew on stuff. As soon as he starts moving I am going to have to majorly clean up our toys, and get rid of the little pieces!

He is a rolling machine. I can hardly get him to lay still in one place. He literally will roll all the way across the room if I let him.

Can you find Max? He is all the way UNDER his jumper. I had laid him on the blanket to the left and I went in the kitchen to get Dex some milk I came back and there he was.

He is almost sitting up too. He can sit up for about 10-20 seconds then falls over.

Blankie buddy review

I always love finding new toys for Max. I recently came across a company called Vitamins baby. After looking at their website I fell in love with their clothes and gifts! One thing I found particularly interesting was a product they call their Blankie buddy. I immediately loved the idea of a stuffed animal crossed with a blanket. I knew that would be so great for so many occasions. I love giving Max stuff to play with in the car, but as many of you know I am car seat crazy, so I don’t like to give him anything hard incase we get in an accident I don’t want anything to become a projectile and hurt him or Dexter. So I loved that it was soft and he could use it in the car. I also loved that its hands are small enough but padded that Max can chew on them. Its like a soft little teether for him. Another great thing about this doll is it is small enough that I can give it to him in his crib, not now but in a few months, and I won’t have to worry about him smothering on it. It’s enough like a stuffed animal for him to get comfort out of it but its not so big that I would worry about it covering his face. I still would wait a few months though.
